Sorry for not making it clear, so our application is,
We have a SAPUI5 browser based application which may call an RFC in back end, using Gateway system.
To answer your questions,
1. Where is the smart form actually processed
It is processed in a SAP back end system. We have a FM here to trigger the Print of the smart form.
2. call under RFC user?
The call to the FM will be using the current logon user, We pass the current user who logs in to the SAPUI application, so the FM in back end is triggered by current user.
For additional information,
If i execute the application by having my SAP GUI sessions opened, i can see the print FM is triggered by the SAPUI application and the smart form getting printed using windows default printer.
So my question is -- How can i trigger a print from SAP without having SAP GUI session opened (background printing)?
