On which hardware SAP Hana will support.

Dear Team,

We are planning to move our existing SAP BI to SAP Hana and also we want to be in ready state to move our existing ECC6.0 to SAP Hana platform not immediately but want to be ready from Hardware perspective.

Currently we are running our ECC6.0 and BI on HP Itanium Blade server 860c i2 with MaxDB as database.

We are thinking for new HP Hardware platform which will support SAP Hana, but want to confirm which HP server hardware will support SAP Hana? Does SAP Hana supports on HP Integrity Superdome 2 Server with Intel® Itanium® 9500 series processor or it only supports on ConvergedSystem 900 is also known as a ProLiant Superdome system - All SAP HANA machines must be built using Xeon E7 processors i.e. x86 correct?

And also if we want to migrate our existing ECC6.0 which is on itanium architecutre to x86 architecture then we will have to follow heterogeneous system copy migration correct?
