Hi Matthew,
Kernel DVD for NW 7.40 should be available on SAP marketplace. SAP NW 7.40 is released to customers and I could see Kernel DVDs for Other OS platforms as well on Marketplace.
In case of issues I shall suggest to raise an OSS message to SAP.
