Hello,

SmartForms technology do not support any text rotations. Any way you
can rotate the document if your printer support it.
If your printer can do it, then you can set this feature permanently
or make some control sequent which should be sent to the printer
when you like to use a rotation.

They must the manual of the printer (that you apply)
see, and in the transaction SPAD the device type
check. If the device type no contains  print control for rotation,
you can create according to the documentation of printer the
print control's.
In the SmartForms you must before the text node
to create a command with print control that rotate the text.
After the text node again a command that one puts the direction on hold.

Here is an example for Zebra printers:

Firtly, in the used device type, you need to create two print controls

containing the commands ^FWR and ^FWN via transaction SPAD:

SPAD -> Full Admin -> Device Types -> e.g. LZEB2 -> tab Print Controls

Here add the new print control commands: e.g.

ZROT: ^FWR

ZNOR: ^FWN

In the smartform, within the window where you need text rotated, create

a new command node by:

right click -> Create -> Flow Logic -> Command Node.

In the command node, there is a field 'Include Printer Control'.

In here enter 'ZROT'.

In the smartform flow, after the rotated text is processed, create a

second command node and issue the second print control ZNOR which

contains command ^FWN. This should turn the text back to normal

orientation.
