1. jdbc channel configuration.

You can do the same configuration, but for all the scenario, if you dont use proxy, http or idoc in the other side, is better to use the ICO object.

You can also share me any best practices for implementing JDBC sceario in PI 7.11.

They are the same that PI 7.1. You can follow  Raja Sekhar Reddy blog, he has a lot of studies about this:
