We are facing an issue sending e-mail notifications from the Portal. This issue is present in the systems DEV and PROD.
When an employee sends his vacation request, the approver gets an e-mail notification but WITHOUT THE CORRECT SENDER.
On the e-mail notification it appears as a standard sender instead of the employee e-mail address (that is present on his infotype105-010).
If we go to the transaction SU01 and add the e-mail address to the user, then it sends the email present on the SU01 but not what is on infotype 105.
Before the last patch updates (October 2012) this was working fine using only the 105-010 e-mail address (without any e-mails on the SU01).
The standard e-mail address that appears on the sender field is build with the USERNAME and the domain, for example MYUSERNAME@sap.com
in the below image it shows unknown sender, it should be display the details present on the infotype 105.
